Exciting Developments at Our Dehairing Facility and Their Impact on You

Big things are happening in Bishkek! Over the past year, we’ve continued to make upgrades to our dehairing facility. Helping us process even higher-quality cashmere and, for the first time, our newly sourced camel fiber. These improvements make our work more efficient, sustainable, and ensure the integrity of every fiber we produce.

Process improvements and equipment expansion has increased dehairing capabilities.

Starting in January 2023, we held a grand opening at the facility, a celebration filled with excitement and hope. For many in the room, it felt like a return to something once lost. Local textile mills used to be a cornerstone of the community, and seeing the machines running again, this time with our own fibers sparked real pride and optimism. With continued improvements through 2025 we are excited to begin offering more fibers from the region to global partners!
